Hi GUys,
The recent update to PlexAmp on macOS 3.1.0 eats CPU like a sieve.
It consumes 100% CPU without a visualizer enabled, and 300% CPU with one.
Please fix
Kind regards
James

Oh and quick followup, even without having a visualier enabled renders the App kind of useless as my CPU fans just spin up and my Mac’s overall performance degades.
Any way to roll back to the previous version while you fix this bug?
Kind regards
James
Hmm, that’s curious, it doesn’t seem immediately reproducible.
Any chance you can do a process sample on it inside Activity Monitor?

Please reach out if it’s reproducible, would love to fix.
Based on my sample of 2 its 100% reproducible
Where would you like the sample sent? In this forum post?
cheers
James

I’m seeing the exact same issue and unfortunately, this makes the Mac app useless. JFYI, I’m on Mojave (10.14.6).
Same here, on Mojave 10.14.6 (18G2022).
Fixed in next release.

Thank you for fixing this so quickly!
