I feel lame.
I’m trying to cast to my Living Room and Bedroom Sonos speakers at the same time from PlexAmp.
It would seem I can only select one at a time. Now I’ve got the same track playing on each speaker, but badly out of sync.
Is there a way to cast to both the Sonos at the same time? Besides using Airplay, of course.
you’d need to make groups using the Sonos app and then they should show up as options inside Plexamp for casting.
Thanks. I looked over the Sonos app, but I’m just seeing settings for grouping stereo pairs.
I’ll keep researching, clearly out of scope for the Plex forums.

Creating stereo pairs is a semi-permanent process. Sonos lets you add and remove speakers from a playback group on the fly.
There’s also this nifty little app that makes grouping and ungrouping easier on iOS, especially when you’re using something like Plex/PlexAmp to control media.
I cannot confirm this behavior. The following screenshots show the sonos app and plexamp on my ipad:
It looks like Plexamp isn’t seeing your Sonos equipment at all.
I’d suggest double checking that your setup meets the requirements here, in particular the network access parts:

Glad to hear you got it sorted 
My experience is that plexamp sees all individual Sonos speakers, or any that are currently grouped together on-the-fly within the Sonos app (I have to group speakers in Sonos app prior to casting).
Plexamp does not see Sonos Groups (completely separate from grouping on-the-fly) which are ‘permanent’ groups created in the Sonos app (as per screenshot)
Is this something that could be utilised by plexamp?
I only have one Sonos unit in my system which is the Sonos Connect. I get “Could not switch to player” error in Red when I try and cast to it?
Having same problem with casting to sonos speakers with plexamp from android as you, when i send it from iPhone it works fine.
What can be wrong?
