If I were to hit that button to resume (in the background) from that command center, it would resume for 1~2 seconds.
If I were to continue playback from my airpods (or any other device), it would start playing (I can hear sound for a brief moment, less than a second) then stop playing. Sometimes it can play for two seconds.
If I were to hit play on the button on the keyboard (F8 → resume playback), it would behave normally.
The issue is that I might be away from my MacBook. I can’t resume playback unless I am back to it.
Just FYI, I also tested the bluetooth connection. This behaviour happens when I am in front of the device (I am also using Airpods 3 Pro).
