Plexamp- albums in Plex not appearing in Plexamp

Hello,
I have 20+ Buddha-bar albums, tagged, which all appear in Plex, though only 3 appear in Plexamp.

Do you know what I should do?

Are you perhaps looking at the Artists preplay page?
The number of albums shown there is restricted. If yiu need to see all of them, tap on the Albums header.
The > is a hint when there are more albums available.

I have music-brainz all of the buddha- bar albums just now in case that was the issue. I assume that as this issue is occuring with the buddha-bar series, (many?) other tracks/albums are not appearing in plexamp, also.

You are looking at the Album Artist “Buddha Bar”.
However, if you’re looking closer on your list of search results, you will notice that not all of these albums are assigned to the Album Artist “Buddha Bar”.

Ultimately, this is very likely caused by missing the importance of the “Album Artist” concept in Plex.
Artist is not AlbumArtist. There are different meta tags for them. If you want your albums to get correctly assigned, ensure that they contain an Album Artist tag.
Particularly if you disagree with how albums are attributed on MusicBrainz, it is essential that you are tagging your files meticulously. And enable “Prefer local metatags” in the properties of the music library.

However, if you enable this checkbox, you must follow these guidelines: Plex sorts albums with identical album artist info in random ways - #5 by OttoKerner
Failure to do so will lead into chaos and erratic behaviour.
