I am in love with plexamp it has become my go to music streaming app for a lot of reasons. I have a pretty large chromecast setup including a lot of devices with displays and noticed that the album art doesn’t come through on these devices for some reason. You guys are already probably aware but wanted to chime in. Attached are some pictures below. Other than that I am loving the chromecast integration soo much! !

Ok looks like this only happens when a display device is in an audio group. When you cast from plexamp to an audio group none of the display devices (chromecast,nest hubs) show album art. Seems like the audio group casting is an entirely different UI perhaps?

Excellent question, I’m honestly not sure 
We should be doing everything needed for Android locally to know what the artwork is, and the chromecast receiver app also knows so I’m unfortunately not sure where the issue is.

Youtube music seems to be doing something similar so yea it does seem to be more of an issue on the chromecast/google side of things. Google play music is the only app that is working correctly when using audio groups with displays well that and the pocket casts app which just seems to have a UI that display nicely on just about everything.
