Plexamp and Plex disagree on the tracks available

PlexAmp: 4.2.1 (iOS)

I had some trouble with one track which led me down a rabbit hole.

Searching ‘prayer’ on PMS (one music library) shows: 7 tracks
Searching ‘prayer’ on PlexAmp: 3 tracks only?

One of the tracks missing from the search: Aretha Franklin - I Say a little Prayer … if I go under Aretha Franklin, Aretha’s Gold album, the track is there.

How do I diagnose to see what is going on? Why aren’t terms matching for search?

The initial search list only shows the first 3 results from different categories, so if there are matches in tracks, artists, and albums, for example, you get a short list for each. This is not obvious when your search only finds results in one category.

To see more results from one category, click the ‘>’ icon next to that category:
