Plexamp and podcast queue

Server Version#:4.75.0
Player Version#:4.0.0

I’m confused as to how to maintain a queue of items to play in Plexamp Desktop Client on Ubuntu. I guess the easiest way that I was expecting would be the default out-of-the-box experience would be to simply go to the Podcasts source and hit play. The queue would be pre-populated with all not yet listened to or finished podcasts. This is not the case. In fact, there seems to be no way to manage any kind of queue.

From My Podcasts, I can play any podcast I’ve subscribed to. The 3 dot menu for a podcast episode has Play Next and Add to Queue. If I play a podcast all episodes, including ones already marked as played fill the queue. This can be seen in the little icon for the queue. AFAICT there is no queue management where I can remove previously played eposides nor add episode from other podcasts.

If I select say Play Next of some other podcast it will put that episode in the queue just after the currently playing episode but now I’m stuck. I cannot then add yet another episode using Play Next but that will replace the current episode that I said to Play Next.

In short, there doesn’t seem to be any queue that one can utilize at all.

Also, on the playing page, there are two icons, one that looks like possibly a Fast Forward icon and another one that looks like a bullhorn with sound coming out. I have no idea what these do. There is no tool tip to tell me but they do toggle on and off. Seem to affect the volume or perhaps EQ.

How do I easily listen to all unlistened to podcasts in a queue that I can easily manipulate?
