Hi is Plexamp resampling all audio behind the scenes or leaving it up to Androids audio resampling ? I ask as I am using it ob my Hiby DAP which the Android OS is modded to bypass system resampling and output at the source materials native rate and bitdepth so bitperfect. However when using Plexamp all material is shown at playing back at one rate regardless. Is this a choice of the Plex software or Android?
Plexamp is resampling to whatever the sound interface’s default sample rate is.
On Android and iOS, there might additionally be a “hard limit” of 48kHz, which currently cannot be worked around with the software architecture of Plexamp.
On my dap it’s making it all 44.1/24 it handles way higher. Any reason your not letting the os handle this?
