Plexamp can't play anything on El Capitan

Hi Elan, Plexamp looks like a truly promising app to me and I’d love to use it, but anytime I start a song, well… nothing happens. It just sits in the visualizer view with no sound (and no visuals btw).
I run from terminal in order to get some debug info and this is what i get when I hit play:

debug: HTTP: Issuing request to https://192.168.1.31:32400/playQueues?includeLoudnessRamps=1&uri=library%3A%2F%2Fxxx%2Fdirectory%2F%2Flibrary%2Fmetadata%2F1731&key=%2Flibrary%2Fmetadata%2F1732&type=audio%2Caudio&commandID=31&X-Plex-Device-Name=Plexamp%20su%20iMac%20di%20Fabio

So there is an assertion error, but I have no idea of what this means. Any clue?
Plexamp 1.0.5 from an old but still functional iMac mid 2007 running El Capitan 10.11.6

I’d very much like some help on this as well. PlexPass User running the latest version of Plex Media Server. Same problem. Plexamp works great on my Windows machine, but not on my mid 2007 iMac… which (with additional RAM and an SSD) is still a powerful computer. But no Plexamp. :frowning:

Hi, today I gave another try to Plexamp and noticed an update, but the problem persists in v1.1.
I really hope you fix this bug, sooner or later.
