Plexamp - can't remove track from playlist

I cannot find a way to delete a playlist?

Can we have the ability to completely Delete a playlist within Plexamp in a future release also?? For example, I created a New Year’s Eve playlist and would like the ability to delete it from the Playlists section of Plexamp.

is there this sort of functionality in other apps? for the rare times i’ve wanted to do this, i just go to the playlist in question.

I previously used iTunes to listen to my music playlists, but have been using Plexamp for some months now. When listening to a playlist in iTunes, you can click a menu in the viewer and select “Remove from playlist”. It removes the item permanently from the playlist (so it never plays again in that context) and skips to the next item in the playlist. That’s a great way to refine a playlist on the fly as you’re listening to music - not need to go back to the original playlist repeatedly.

I found this topic looking for a way to do the same in Plexamp - it would be great to see this addition.

Just to be clear, this discussion is entirely about the mobile apps and not the desktop apps? Because I can’t figure out whatsoever how to remove individual tracks from a playlist in Plexamp.

@mi5ha PlexAmp 3.4.1 brought back track removal. Just swipe LEFT on a playlist track. Should work on iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac.

I’m having a similar problem simply deleting a song from a playlist on iOS PlexAmp (not a smart playlist). The swipe left doesn’t do anything for me there. I have to go to Plex and swipe left does work there and I can delete the song that way.

I can also delete (swipe left) from the song queue but not from the playlist view.

I’m using iOS 14.4 and the latest PkexAmp

Any idea?

We have a limit currently of 100 tracks; any playlist bigger than that doesn’t currently allow editing (deleting/reordering). This is a performance issue, in the future we’ll remove that limitation.
