I see that you cannot cast to a Sonos device downloaded content. Is the a restriction or something in development?
restriction; adding casting of downloaded content is a major endeavor, essentially need to add mini server to the app.
How about add the casting server to Plex Server and use the Plexamp app like a remote for when casting is needed?. Similar to Logitech Media Server? Any device, like RPi, could then become a cast destination - or maybe even group them on the server for multiroom?

that’s basically how it works already, but it doesn’t address casting offline content which is on the device.

I’m guessing this is similar to what it would take (and why we probably won’t see) and Alexa skill for PlexAmp? The complexity of getting the skill to communicate between the right user and the right server would be non-trivial, even with the streaming engine running on the Plex server?
Alexa streams directly from the server, so if we had a server based solution it’s possible Alexa could use it.
