What are the current devices that PlexAmp is able to cast to on Mobile and the Desktop? I am able to see my ChromeCast devices which work fine. I’m also able to see my AirPlay devices through the AirPlay handler.
Are there any other classes of devices that PlexAmp is able to cast to with the current feature set? Perhaps some network streamer or the like for a hifi system?
Sonos, I believe.
Plexamp can cast to Chromecast, Sonos, AirPlay, and other Plex apps (companion play, though Plexamp itself is not yet able to be a receiver for this).
Importantly also, not all targets are able to be cast to from all platforms. One example is Chromecast, which can’t be cast from desktop platforms due to a limitation on Google’s end.
