Plexamp choppy audio with USB Soundcard

I’m running Plexamp 3.4.1 and the audio is completely garbled coming out of my sound card. I tested it with the internal speakers and its fine. I played audio back from the Plex App for Mac and that is fine through both the sound card and my internal speakers on my MBP 2013. Any ideas why PlexAmp can’t get audio to play through my USB card?

If it matters, its a MOTU M4.

The interesting thing is that it only seems to affect some interfaces. My MOTU 828es does not seem to be affected…
