Hello
Not sure where to report this - but I think there is a bug on MacOS (Ventura 13.5.2), where I have Plexamp 4.8.3 running on my Macbook Pro (M2PRO CPU) system where I have multiple audio interfaces enabled - standard Mac audio interface and connected Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 (this has one set of stereo output going to my speakers and another set of stereo output to headphones). To conveniently switch between my speakers and headphones I had created “new interface with multiple inputs / outputs” (gonna call this headphones) in my Midi and audio settings app. This seem to be working correctly Operating System wide everywhere - Itunes, normal Plex player and all other software that uses audio - when I switch my default audio to this headphones output it plays correctly via them, when switch to standard Scarlett output it goes through my speakers. With Plexamp there is an issue when I switch it to play via default system output and I would set that to headphones, it will still play through random output - sometimes via standard Scarlett output (speakers), sometimes through mac speakers and sometimes if I have airpods connected it goes through them, interestingly - it never goes through my headphones. I have no idea what is going on here and why plexamp behaves like this. I have the macbook for few months, unfortunately I am not so sure if this was the case before, with older macbook. I wonder if anyone is having similar difficulties, or anyone have similar setup who had faced such problem and perhaps found a fix for that? Any hints would be appreciated.
