Plexamp codec compression

I repeat my request … Could you add uncompressed audio mode? I would like to listen to my albums flac, dsd, mqa without manipulation by the plexamp codec …

There is no such thing as a “Plexamp codec”.

Plexamp will happily direct play the lossless formats WAV, FLAC, ALAC etc. if you allow it to use the higher bandwidth which these codecs require.

I set everything to maximum but opus codec converts albums! I have confirmation from the indicator on my dac! Can’t you have a direct stream like plex video?

Please tell me the original codec of your files.
Optimally, post the content of the Plex XML info of one affected audio track.

and/or post Plexamp log files (settings > advanced > debugging) after playing one; they will show why it’s converting.

hi, this is the xml of my flac, is a 48/24 played a 44.1

[admin edit: formatted the XML as code ]

you didn’t attach any XML, but please post Plexamp.log after playing.

I made copy and paste of the xml text but it is not displayed in the web page, I put a txt from play windows applog.txt (2.3 KB)

that should play directly. please post Plexamp log.

(File removed)
I attached the logs and the screenshot of my dac, from the photo above circled in yellow you can see the actual bitrate converted by plexamp

At the moment Plexamp does not do source matching, it opens the device at the system recommended sample rate:

BASS: Device opened and sample rate is 44100 (preferred was 44100), latency is 146ms (minimum buffer: 10ms).

In the future we’ll do better source matching.

So both on android and on Windows 10, despite a top hardware, the basic resolution is preferred? It seemed to me that the DAC was not recognized

I so want this fixed too…

It would be a big step…
