Plexamp doesn't want to play AIFF files

Downloaded a new album from Bandcamp in AIFF. Added it to the library like always. Standard Plex Player is playing it without any problems but Plexamp for some reason doesn’t want to read the file. I can see it in the album overview but when I click on play I only see the spinning wheel in the middle.
Tried multiple times to delete and add it to the library. Strange thing, all other AIFFs files work. Any help to fix this would be appreciated.

those are the server logs, would need app logs from Plexamp itself (settings > advanced > debugging)

No debugging section in the settings under advanced.

on desktop you’ll have to find the Plexamp.log file, in the usual place for the OS.

It’s failing to parse the AIFF file for some reason. Any chance for a sample?

I highly recommend converting to FLAC, it’s a better format, and will take up less space with identical quality.

Interesting. So what I did is I fired up XLD and re-coded the AIFF file into the same format again. And now playback works. Strange, since the files I got where directly from Bandcamp. Maybe something was wrong with them?

I try to get you a sample of the AIFF file for further investigations if you are interested. Strange thing that it played fine expect in the Plexamp app.

Yup. I had several AIFF files fail to play. Did exactly what you did and the files played fine.
