Plexamp error still in new verision

Was hoping it would be gone in the new version just installed on OSX and still get this:
Uncaught Exception:

at MediaService. (/Applications/Plexamp.app/Contents/Resources/app.asar/main.js:2:15806)

at MediaService.emit (node:events:517:28)

I have been getting the same error the past week or so (I think) when my Mac wakes up from sleep/hibernation. It seems to happen whether the player is open or not. Tried reinstalling Plexamp but I think it’s the same version I already had so no change.

Glad it’s not just me then, yeah I just lock my Mac and it goes to sleep when I unlock it there error pops up. Been happening since the previous version for me. Installed the new one hoping it would be fixed but nope.

I spoke too soon. I was just doing work and the error popped up again. No hibernate needed.

Weird, we’ll try to work around for the next release, I haven’t seen that error over here.

Is this trivial to reproduce for you? Run the app, close your laptop, open your laptop?

What OS/arch/etc?

Mac OS Sequoia 15.4. M2 Mac Mini

I just leave the app open. If I lock my computer overnight the error will often be waiting for me in the morning.

Sometimes I haven’t even used it in between crashes.

Cheers
Rob

What audio hardware is it connected to (if any)?

I have a workaround which might prevent it from displaying that error. DM me an email if you would like to try it.
