PLEXAMP - Feature request - delete/remove songs from queue

I’m sure this is already requested frequently but after scouring the Feature suggestion forum, I couldn’t find specific reference to it. Super simple ask so I was surprised but requesting the ability to remove a song from the up next play queue in plexamp.
As it stands, the 3-dot menu for songs in the play queue displays the following addtl options,

  • Play Track Radio
  • Add to playlist
  • Play Next
  • Add to up next
  • Add to queue
  • Show similar tracks
  • Go to album
  • Go to artist
  • Rate the track

The “remove from queue”, or “delete from up next” is an obvious value add & I’m surprised we don’t have it already. Especially considering how much better the “Play Next” & “add to up next” are compared to Spotify for example, this seems like an easy win.

If I understand what you’re asking, you should be able to remove an item from the queue by swiping it left.

Wow. How did I not know this was the mechanic to perform that function? Ok, well - this is an easy one to resolve then.

… Because unfortunately, Plexamp is loaded with hidden UX features that offer no affordance.

Wait until you see what is possible when you touch the tip of your tongue to a playlist entry.

You should refrain from licking phones… those touch screens are filthy.
Swiping to interact with records is actually quite common on iOS (not sure about Android, but I guess too).
