  • There should be a toggle for task bar or tray only visibility… Seems like MS is trying to get away from the tray by how compact they have made taskbar icons.
  • The menu options currently found on the right click of the tray icon should also be made available on the windows 10 tray icon as menus are supported on taskbar items as well, this applies when they are pined to the start menu as well. I think the menu should also be on the right click function of the album art / main window. Honestly I struggled to find the menu because the tray icon is hidden by default unless you have show all tray icons enabled.
  • snapping to corners would be very good to have for the main window.
  • Thinking back to winamp a rollup mode that is thin and can sit at the top of the screen would also be nice.

I would like to see Plexamp gain the ability to cast to other devices.

Here’s my setup:

Office
NAS (Music, Photos, Movies, TV Shows)
PC + Plex Server and Plexamp

Living Room
TV with Fire Stick w/ remote, + Plex app
Stereo (connected through TV out)

General
Android phone + Plex app

The Plex web browser UI is sluggish at best (compared to old school Winamp, etc.) with large amounts of media.
The Fire Stick remote is too clunky to be able to control the Fire Stick Plex app UI very well.
The Android app is the best thing I have right now, but if I’m sitting at the computer working, I don’t want to pull my phone out to change songs.
Plexamp could be the perfect bridge here, if it could cast to other devices.

You can cast already to other Plex apps, check the Player menu.
