I posted this about 3 years ago before the advent of Plexamp and I’m posting it again because I thought maybe there would have been an Ah Ha moment by someone on the plex team. Why oh WHY can’t I simply sort my music files buy file name within the folder I have them assigned to? It looks at things through the tag info. Back in the 90’s I didn’t want to put in all that track data because I didn’t care and I STILL DON’T. I know what the album is and I know what the song is and I have them named in the order of the track in the album. It seems so so very simple to simply have that option to sort and display by file name. Every OS in the world does this. Please add this feature! I love plex and have been using for years and will continue for years to come. This is quite literally the only feature keeping plex from being perfect to me.
