PlexAmp for Android - Volume control missing from new version (3.4.0)

Not a suggestion so much as a question: What happened to the volume control Plexamp used to have when casting to another device? It was very useful (if difficult to find), but now it seems to have vanished altogether! If you took it out, please put it back!

Possibly also related to the latest version:
Until a few days ago, I was able to play a Plex video stream through Roku on my TV (Fireplace, for example), while casting music to the Sonos Beam soundbar via Plexamp from my phone. It was great! The music cast didn’t affect the video display. Now, suddenly it does. When I hit play on the music, the video is immediately replaced with the Plexamp listing of the piece playing. The original functionality still works if I play the music from Plexamp on my laptop–but not from my Android phone. Is this a deliberate change? If so, please reconsider.

In the meantime, as a workaround, is there a way for me to roll my Android Plexamp back to the previous version?

(I’m only guessing that an update was involved; my phone doesn’t give me information about when apps are updated.)

The volume slider doesn’t appear until you actually start playback.

Sorry, I lost track here. How many devices are involved here and how are they interconnected to each other?

The volume control wasn’t there at all. I was just now trying again, and having trouble connecting. Finally I hit the little refresh circle, and suddenly Plexamp reconnected to the Sonos–and the volume slider appeared once more!

This problem disappeared with the other one. I guess the lesson is, if it’s not behaving the way you want, try tapping the refresh icon on the cast screen.

(But to answer your question, I was playing video via Plex on Roku, and playing music via Plexamp. Both pulling from my library on the NAS. Now, I can once again have the music playing over the muted video, so all is well.)

Thanks.
