I will second this, in fact I have Plex Pass I wouldn’t mind if I have to pay for the app. Apple Music is a great service to discover new music but I rather pay for Plex Pass and have my own music in the highest quality available. Of course the AppleWatch app would have to use mp4 or mp3.
