Plexamp is pulling 10-14-16-9.XXXX.plex.direct instead of 10-14-16-90
There is a reverse proxy on the former address, but how/why is Plexamp finding it, when all other Plex apps are OK?

Plexamp uses the address(es) published to Plex.tv and returned in the https://plex.tv/api/resources call. Other apps may use local network discovery, but Plexamp doesn’t. Generally, making sure your server is signed in and accessible remotely is what I’d check first.
Many thanks for your reply. I resolved this issue by removing the reverse proxy from the equation and setting up HTTPS/SSL properly in Plex. I also added an exception to DNS rebind protection in dnsmasq to allow plex.tv plex.direct to work
