Plex should group Multiple Versions of one album (like a Deluxe Edition, a remaster or a high bitrate version) into one entry on the album page, where you can select the version you want to listen to, similiar to how Roon does it.
There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to improve the handling of different versions/editions of an album. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
