Plexamp hangs for 30 seconds when casting to Plex HTPC

I am mainly using Plexamp on Android to control either Headless Plexamp to play stereo music or Plex HTPC to play multichannel music.

Controlling the Plexamp Headless works great but, unfortunately, when casting to Plex HTPC, the Plexamp Android app hangs for around 30 seconds when I select a song to be played. The “Playing Now” screen is just black & blank with a spinning circle in the middle for around 30 seconds ( the music actually starts playing immediately just Plexamp doesn’t think it does ) , then it recovers and shows the album art and the timeline.

This is surely related to : Bug: Plex HTPC issues when being controlled from other Plex app
But I think this also deserves Plexamp attention as there are not many alternatives to play multichannel music with pass-through audio without using a TV interface.
It would be great if the great Plexamp experience also applied to multichannel music.
