I would like to turn on and off my amplifier connected to my raspberry pi running plexamp through a DAC HAT. The power stage of the amplifier is controlled through a relay connected to one of the gpio pin of the pi.
Is there an api/websocket that can be used on the client to detect the start of a music or video being played? I only need to know the playing status (playing / paused).
Essentially I need a plugin equivalent to ampswitch for volumio
