I have a song I’m recording and am making versions as I go along to test on headphones, in the car, etc. I replace the version in my iTunes folder on my computer, which is linked to my Plex. The newer version plays on the desktop version of Plex after update, but an older version is still being accessed on my phone. I tried clearing the cache multiple times in the app, and closing and restarting the app as well, to no avail. Any suggestions?
Plexamp is optimized to cache as much as possible in advance. This doesn’t mix well with the situation where a song file changes frequently. And it’s a rather rare occurrence.
Either you start storing “versions numbers” in your file names or you use a different player for this particular situation.
