The addition of a volume limit setting in Plexamp.
I’ve been using Plexamp for a while now, and I absolutely love the experience it offers for music enthusiasts like us. However, I believe there’s an essential feature missing that could make it even better—a volume limit setting.
Pretty straightforward, ability to set volume to a certain maximum value for output sound. Help protect Ears.
Plexamp already has a loudness leveler.
All newer mobile devices already have a maximum loudness protection.
So make sure that all music on your Plex server is properly analyzed for loudness.
If you want to lower the maxmimum output level of Plexamp, go into its preferences and set Playback → Gain back to 0dB
