I recently started using PlexAmp and I’m enjoying it thus far. However, something that came to mind was to have the ability to have a moving background.
For example: During the holidays let’s say I start playing my Christmas music playlist. It would be cool to have something as simple as snow falling in the background. Or maybe just Christmas colors moving around. Something subtle. Not explosive.
Another thought is having an actual video take place of the screen. For the Christmas example we could have a video of a chimney fire. It would make the vibe even more cozy.
I just screen mirror to my TV with PlexAmp so this is where those ideas came from when I was doing that. However, if there was a way to do it within the Plex app that would be even better. Let me know if this is even possible. I know having videos or moving backgrounds can require more computing power, but that’s the beauty of making it an option. You can leave it turned off if it’s something your current server is unable to handle at the moment.
