Plexamp multiple users

Hey folks,

Quick question or two for ya.

I have just finished setting up my albums so far on my server and use Plexamp on my phone when out running, walking, etc. Now, I have installed Plexamp on my sister’s phone (doesn’t live in same house/town) and she is signed in to my server account. If I’m listening to music on my device, will it stop if she decides to listen to music on hers or will it just stream along side mine?

If it does stop, what would you recommend I do for her to stream the music?

I know we don’t need PlexPass for plexamp any more but I do have that if it helps.

Many thanks folks.

You can have as many devices signed into the same Plex account as you like.
They won’t influence each other. The only restrictions are the uplink bandwidth of your server and its processing speed.

Consider creating a managed user account for your sister, so that she has her own playback stats and ratings etc.
and so that her usage won’t influence your own Recently Played, Continue Watching and so on.

That’s grand, thank you. Is there a guide for setting up managed users? Still learning all of this as I’ve only been using it myself up to now.
