Been a while since I have used Plex’s API, but I’m sure it’s possible to use a user’s playback history to build a personalised recommendation profile to build playlists for those days when I’m not sure who I want to listen too but definitely want to listen to a particular genre of music?
On another note, I would so love to put a winamp skin on this.

Just found it. This is nice but not quite what I’m referring too. This requires more interaction than required in today’s technology available to us.
It’s easy today to build a simple recommendation engine from previous history and train a model to reflect that.
Mix builder is a good start, but I’ve already been spoilt with better solutions, hence why I have never taken Plex seriously for audio use.

Just play with it, instead of requesting that every menu item and feature has to be identical to existing solutions. You’ll soon discover that there is more in it, than is apparent to the eye.

As I didn’t request a feature. I was actually enquiring would it be possible with the existing API?
As I would simply add the feature my self for my own requirements.
