Hi there - just wondering how easy it might be to implement a different tone of voice which is less, well, wacky?
I love using Plexamp, but the way some of the text prompts are worded drives me up the wall, eg:
- “A playlist is a terrible thing to waste”
- “Add more music or we’ll both suffer in silence”
That sort of thing. Call me a curmudgeon, but I find that sort of “hey, we’re your fun pal!” tone intensely irritating. I’d prefer, for example:
- “Playlist is empty”
- “No music in queue”
I’m not asking that this be implemented by default, as no doubt plenty of people do like it - but might there be a way to have a “Translation” of, eg, “English (simple)” or whatever?
I’d be happy to come up with the text myself (given a full list of current text strings to work from), but I’ve no idea how to submit a translation, plus I’m not sure if that’s even the best approach.
Anyway, grumble, grumble… ![]()
