Whilst using plexamp on my pixel 6 pro I am finding that tracks pause to buffer within areas of low signal strength.
I will have a play queue with at least 15+ tracks still to play, I have my cache settings as 15 tracks/8gb. I will hit an area of poor signal and Plex will pause to buffer.
When I started the play queue I am usually at home on WiFi or in a good signal area allowing plenty of time for the tracks to cache, but for some reason that doesn’t seem to be happening.
You logs would shed more light, posted right after you see the pause for buffering. If you start your play queue at home it should pre-cache quite a bit.
The only caveat is that pre-caching only operates on a single source (server) so if you start a play queue which contains some tracks from other severs, those don’t pre-cache. Not sure if that’s what you’re running into.
I’ll post logs as soon as the issue happens again (it’s doing it a lot so shouldn’t take long). I’m only sharing from 1 server, so that shouldn’t be the issue.
