PlexAmp not downmixing multichannel FLAC to Stereo

Player Version#: PlexAmp 4.3.0

I have a music library of Multichannel (5.1) FLAC.
When playing music in PlexAmp on any client (Windows, or Android), the multichannel FLAC files don’t get downmixed to stereo. Thus, only 2 random channels get played and the remaining 4 channels are skipped entirely.

I found another thread that indicated stereo downmixing only works when streaming remotely over LTE/4G… however I want to play music from WiFi in my own network, especially since I won’t be on LTE/4G when playing from a Windows PC.

Dear Developers, I am using PMS exclusively to stream multichannel flac files. Kindly implement on the server-side or on the client side the ability to … DOWNMIX MULTICHANNEL to STEREO. Though PMS transcodes and downmixes to stereo to remote requests, I wish that there is an easy way to achieve this on local area even if transcoding is not needed! Thanks in advance. Regards Marc. I’ve tried this on 2 different Android phones, and 2 different Windows computers. Same result on all of them. Multichannel flac only plays 2 out of 6 channels so most of the mix is lost.
