Plexamp not respecting Windows 10 app volume and device preferences

Server Version#: 4.47.3
Player Version#: 3.4.0

When I set plexamp to anything but “default” in Output on the “App volume and device preferences” dialog in Windows 10, the setting works initially. However, after closing plexamp and re-opening, the app’s audio signal reverts to the default path despite the setting in the app volume and device preferences dialog. FWIW, I’m using Voicemeeter Potato to route computer audio and use the “VAIO3 (Aux 3)” channel for all media players on my PC. All other players respect the routing upon closing and re-opening, so I don’t think the issue is with windows.

Love plexamp, and this is just a minor issue, but still annoying.

I am seeing the same behavior with Plexamp for Windows 3.4.0 as well. In my case, the default Windows sound output is set to 'built in speakers" whereas I’ve set Plexamp to output to “USB -> Schitt Modi 3 DAC” which is connected to my integrated amp. Current workaround when restarting Plexamp is to switch default sound to USB and then back to Speakers from the Sound icon in the Windows Taskbar. The regular Plex for Windows works as expected (i.e. it always outputs to USB as set via advanced sound settings overrides).

I can confirm that the regular Plex app for Windows works as expected on my machine as well.
