Plexamp on Android and iOS not seeing an android-based Plex Player

Hi all - I’ve got a question about the differing cast list on Plexamp and Plex on both Android and iOS.

I think two screenshots will explain with much greater clarity:

Any ideas how I can fix this [I want to see OnePlus 6 as a castable device that’s displayed in Plex], and get the same cast list to appear in Plexamp?

I’m thinking of using my old Android as an endpoint (connected to a USB DAC with a USB OTG connector). I really want to be able use Plexamp as the remote (because it’s superb for music management compared to the Plex app).

Plex for Android has some reliability issues around casting, which, when combined with the slightly different way Plexamp does remote control, results in the player either not showing up, or alternating between showing up and disappearing.
