Plexamp on (arch)linux not working

Player Version#: Plexamp 4.12.4 (linux)

Hello, I recently switched from Windows to archlinux. Installed plexamp using yay (i have the same issue with both plexamp-appimage and plexamp-bin) and whenever i try to play a song, it just immediately stops. Not really sure what’s causing this, if i launch plexamp through Konsole there’s no error. I can use the flatpak version, but it has a different issue where when i start a song it doesn’t play for a bit (it goes from 0 to 1 to 0 to 1 etc second) until suddenly it does after i try changing to a different song and playing the same one again (and then everything works fine)
Video of the issue:

also when i use the flatpak version if i check the plex app i can see that 1) it says i’m downloading the song) and 2 it says i’m playing it normally (like that) Also also unrelated to that but i have multiple libraries and cross searching (ie searching for a song or an album etc that’s in a different library than the one i currently have selected) doesn’t work, despite working on android/windows

I’d like to up this topic as i haven’t found a solution for this issue. I did find some half solutions tho, and also my log files

Plexamp.log (106.6 KB)

as for the half solution, switching the audio device seems to work… Kind of. When i do switch it i get my music playing, but my browser audio stops working for some reason. And then if i pause the song it and unpause it it also doesn’t work anymore. Really weird stuff all around
