Browser not showing album artwork in Plexamp on the Raspberry Pi
(I did add WorkingDirectory=/home/pi/plexamp)
My album art is from embedded tags. Is that the reason?
If you see on e.g. mobile Plexamp, you should see it here. Browser debug console might show an error. Works over here, clearly…
Yes I do see artwork in the plex mobile app.
I’m using an old version of Safari (old laptop)
Trying Safari on my newer Mac-mini…. Not seeing artwork
….trying Chrome now…
Seeing Artwork on Chrome,
(Safari issue on my end.)
Is your mobile plexamp app screen mirrored on the Pi? Cause when I am logged into the pi and the browser is open, I don’t even see the track like Tony_T sees it. I just have home screen and nothing going on? Am I missing something. I don’t see artwork I don’t see tracks either but I do hear music. ![]()
What browser are you using? Works for me on Chrome, but not Safari
Chromium - Debian
Edit: Updated/Upgraded my install. Chromium I am still not getting anything might be a chromium issue. Moved to Firefox I at least am getting a audio waveform caterpillar but no cover art and no background color changes I assume this is because the background color follows the album artwork? Also UI is pretty squeezed up and messy. See Screen shots.
Fixed with beta 2
Album artwork fixed. UI is nicer looking also, looks like its fixed on Firefox for me.

Yep, there were some Firefox specific fixes in there ![]()
It did just turn 100 so I mean? there was bound to be something LOL
Just don’t tell me it doesn’t work on Internet Explorer 6 and we can be friends.
Can confirm this is resolved in FF, thanks @elan
we’ve only enabled it for some layouts, per the release notes.
I did read the notes, but forgot it stated “ Browser: Show volume control in tall enough horizontal layouts”
