Plexamp on Raspberry Pi - Browser GUI issues

Hi,
first of all a huge thank you to @elan and the Plexamp team for their work on the Raspberry Pi platform.
I installed the beta and had no problem in making it work controlled remotely from another instance. The browser interface still shows some teething problems:

  1. Album art is shown only on Chrome, Firefox and Safari on Mac show a blurred preview
  2. Play doesn’t work on any browser I tested on Mac, spinning indicator lasts forever
  3. Playing now interface not shown even the Pi is playing remotely controlled
  4. Audio playback device list is not update if a USB device is plugged, Plexamp service restart needed

I know it is normal to have such issue at such an early stage but the current status is already very usable.

Have a nice day

same or similar issue:

this is where i had posted some screenshots of browser console errors that inadvertently included my X-Plex-Token which @OttoKerner kindly deleted.

The gist of the console errors was that the problem with displaying images in some browsers seems to be request header access control origin / CORS types of issues in case that helps anyone trying to debug it.

Don’t post your X-Plex-Token!

woops! Thanks.

Should be fixed in next release.

Not intended to, actions will be disabled.

Perfect, thank you!

Fixed for me in beta 2 - I now see album art in MenubarX and Safari on macos.

Ok, with beta 2 images are visible for me too

Hello,
current status in beta 5 is the following

Verified

Unchanged

Plexamp for RasPi exceeds my expectation in such an early stage, it is already stable and sounds good!

Make sure you select the player from the cast dialog, default is browser/broken.

Probably same issue?

Yes to both the points, selecting the player in the cast dialog shows the player and makes it work.

Thanks!
