Plex doesn’t have a dedicated app to take songs with you on your watch.
You should however be able to control the playback through the built-in iOS remote app (while playing from your phone)

Thanks for reply. I would like buy the cellular version of Apple Watch and use it without my iPhone. So i have to use another app for stream music from my Apple Watch… :slightly_frowning_face:

Plus 1 for me on this. I’d also like to see Plex Amp implemented on the Apple Watch. Feature Request?

There’s an existing request for a Plex app on the Apple Watch

IIRC Plex have already commented they don’t have a dedicated Plexamp client for the Apple Watch on their radar at the moment (too many limitations…).

Thanks for the link. I reviewed the posts in there and didn’t see reference to the limitations other than an old post about API from 2017 that quoted something about an API limitation. Surely that has been resolved by now with all the other music apps that are now available on the watch?

I was actually referring some statements specific to Plexamp and Apple Watch (though that statement was from 2020).

I’m not happy for this. The users ask an app for Apple Watch from years.
Emby has an app dedicated for Apple Watch.
Third part solutions?
