I have been using Plex + Plexamp for awhile now, and I love it.
However, there is one thing that I would love to see added to the PC version of Plexamp.
Docked mode.
Back in the day I when I used WinAmp if you dragged the player to the side of your screen it would ‘snap’ into a sort of docked mode and kind of act like an extra taskbar - meaning full-screen windows would snap to the edges, etc. It was perfect for quickly glancing at your current track and/or adjusting volume, etc.
It would also change the layout of the player window based on the size, so you could go as small as just having the title of the track visible.
You can’t really do that with Plexamp.
I am able to almost reproduce the same effect using Windows PowerToys + Fancy Zones but it’s not perfect: windows don’t always open inside the zones, so I have to constantly snap new windows to the non-Plexamp zone or else it gets covered up, fullscreening does not prevent the window from just using all the zones, so it covers up the plexamp, and if I happen to have focus on the plexamp window and mouse-wheel down, it scrolls the screen and stops showing the track details that I want to see.
IIRC, you could also ‘snap’ the winamp player on the other side of your taskbar if you wanted.

My Plexamp layout when working ‘correctly’ with Fancy Zones.
Also, when I want to open up the Plexamp interface to pick new songs/etc. I have to double-click it to make it go fullscreen. Would be nice to just have a button that opens a small popup window instead.
…and maybe have a volume control slider on there too?
tldr: I want to be able to ‘snap’ a mini version of the plexamp screen to a small area on my screen that other windows will not overlap or cover up and I don’t want it to scroll or change the layout by accident.
