I know I can search for an artist and play them, but that doesn’t work well when there are a lot of singles in the artist folder on disk - playing the artist seems to miss the singles even though the metadata in the file has the artist set.
being able to pin the folder (or for that matter an artist) would help navigate content where the metadata doesn’t match what Plex expects
If I click the Play button on the artist page, the resulting play queue will list songs from the regular albums and other release types (singles, live albums, compilations…).
Are those „missing“ singles listed on the artist page?
they don’t list on the artist page, but do show up when I search for a track and then go to artist things show up fine. Guess I’m going to have to do some more fiddling around with metadata and file names to massage things a bit better
