I think this topic was somewhat already discussed but I didn’t manage to find a clear answer: why are managed users not able to benefit from automatically generated playlists in Pleaxamp (heart playlists) ?
I have an admin account, it is working perfectly but my wife an children despite they are rating songs cannot access this feature…
Do I miss anything ?

Playlists are individual for every user. Therefore your managed users won’t see the playlists which were created in your account.
You can easily set up the same smart playlist(s) for each user who wants it.
Open the web app https://app.plex.tv
“Switch User” into the account of your managed user
Go into your music library
set the library view mode to “Tracks”
open the Advanced Filters
create a filter which fits what you want.

Tracks” playlist for instance simply uses this filter:

thanks for the tip, I have tried and it seems to work.
Of course I do not need / want to share MY playlist with my familly memebers, I just want them to be able to generate the same kind of automatic “heart” playlist.
Should I understand the “heart” playlists are not generated automatically for managed users and that they need to go for a manual filter creation?
This playlist is intended to give you an impression what is possible. And it is generated when you install Plexamp and connect it to your Plex account.
Since your managed users are kinda riding on the back of your account, they don’t need to connect their plexamp. So the playlist is never created for them.
ok clear, but a bit disappointing I must confess.
