Playlists should be available to my managed users - or at least give me a checkbox to includes them.

I second this! It would be wonderful to be able to share playlists like libraries
I agree. It diminishes the point of the creating multiple users if playlists aren’t available for movies and TV shows
I worked hard creating playlists… I’ve stopped using managed users all together.
Aye…is there any plan to implement this feature?
I’d like to be able to share playlists with friends so we could all work on the same music playlists (like a pandora station!) for when we have gatherings. Definitely willing to pay for this feature!

Please add this. Also import itunes playlist in other user profiles. These two things puts me in a pickle right now. I can only import playlist to my admin account, user accounts don’t have that option. My user accounts have restrictions on some libraries. So to impose the restrictions on user libraries means they also don’t have access to general music playlists I imported from itunes. Or I only use my base account, but then there are no restrictions on libraries.
FRACK! Went through all the trouble of setting up user accounts for my family and now the Playlists I spent tons of time setting up don’t appear! Sheesh. Great idea but half-baked! Deleting all the accounts and going back to the old way. GRRRR!!!
[UPDATE] Turns out you CAN have Playlists on managed accounts. You just have to sign in to them and create them from scratch again. GRRRR! Bettern than nothing but would be SO much better to have universal playlists that I can include or not just like libraries. such a royal pain!
Can you have the playlists be global for everyone in your home account so you dont have to recreate all your playlists?

Playlists should have the same permission system as libraries, as you wouldn’t want every playlist a user makes in your home, it also raises issue of if you have something in the playlist another user doesnt have permission to.
+1 for managed user playlist sharing, and at minimum the ability to import iTunes playlists as a managed user

Plex is working on other dumb things that should wait until they get their core product function working!!!
This is why Plex will eventually get left in the dust if they do not start to focus on the core functionality of a media server.
