Plexamp Question

Being mostly a music listener I’m intruiged about Plexamp. I can’t find an answer to

Is Plexamp cross platform, specifically Linux (Debian), Android TV & Firestick?
If so, how difficult is the installation process?

Thanks

The answer is on the plexamp page: Plexamp - Love your music!

The only one missing here is Plexamp headless, but it is still in beta, but works. It runs on primarily Raspbian OS 64-it.

Thanks for that. I missed the OS list at the footer when I last looked at that page.

No Fire-TV (Firestick) though, which is a pity. Unless that .apkg works?

Anyway, I’ll try a year of Plexpass now and we’ll see what happens.

Cheers

Plexpass done.

Plexamp running on my 'nix PC and Android phone.

No installation for ANdroid TV, my older SAMSUNG android tablet or Fire-tv., but I suppose I could BT from the android phone.

ANyway, baby steps…

You can send Plexamp to Plex. So on android tv, and firestick you can download regular Plex. Make sure Plex settings are set to “brodcast as player” and then you can stream from plexamp to plex. You don’t get the nice UI of plexamp or any of the custom EQs but you do get sweet fades. Its a work around I use for sending plexamp to my chromecast. Baby steps for sure.

Cool., I’ll try that.
