Plexamp Radios - Can they be trained/tuned?

Loving plexamp and enjoying Discovery radio particularly.

Discovery radio is giving me lots of music (from Tidal) that I’ve never heard before - great. It also gives me music I really don’t want to hear and have to skip. I’m old enough to not like certain genres, and music of that type gets skipped. So what I’m wondering is if any learning is going on and if I can do anything to assist in getting less of the styles of music I don’t like?

I rarely use Tidal directly but when I do I’ve noticed there is a block artist option. would that have any effect on Plexamp radios? I guess what I’d really like is to block genres.

I know I could use artist radio but they mostly give me music I already know and often the same tracks.

generally rating a track badly is a signal we use (as well as rating it highly).

Thanks for the reply.

Can I suggest then a setting option for skipped track = rated badly, as that would save going to the player and selecting 1 star(?) which is more effort than clicking next track on a remote.

generally we do track skips, but (at least personally), sometimes i skip songs i like because i’m not in the mood at the moment, or i’m looking for something special.

Personally, I would love a few training options for radio stations. The number one example I have is holiday/Christmas music. I REALLY want a way to have the station(s) ignore that content 11 months out of the year

The only way to train them at the moment is star ratings. If you rate your holiday music 1 star, it won’t pop up in radios.
