Hello folks, Use Plexamp to play my music, and mainly on random.
But I would like something a bit more advanced than just random.
Has anyone coded a shuffle that plays random but on play count?
So it only plays say zero’s until they are used up, then 1s then 2s.
And how did you add it to Plexamp?

Have you considered creating your own smart playlist/collection to apply that logic?
I suppose something like this should work:
- display by
Tracks - sort by
Plays(ascending) → you might need to add that column to the list view and click 2x on the header to make it sort ascending - limit to
20– if this is a smart playlist/collection, it’ll refresh its content as you keep playing; obviously you can also pick a bigger number
This would just give me a few albums.I am looking for a little more. But thanks for the idea.

make it 200 tracks (or more)… anyway, based on the sort order this smart collection/playlist should always show the “least played” items in your library.
Found something that might work, “Rules”,so I’ll give it s good!
