Plexamp Screensaver for headless web gui (Feature Request)

I would love to see a setting in Plexamp web gui that enables a screensaver when no song is playing on the current player that darkens the screen (and shows date & time) after 60 seconds (time configurable).

I am currently using LMS (Logitech Media Server) and with the Material Skin this is a setting that works brilliantly for having a tablet as a “Now Playing” screen. I have included a picture of my current setup with this feature.

While playing…

After pause or stop after 60 seconds…

Any thoughts on this?

Unfortunately, I see this idea hasn’t gotten any traction. Maybe it makes more sense to have a clock screensaver on the web gui for Plexamp headless similar to LMS which has that feature available through the HTML5 material skin.
