<I use plex to transmit my files on a NAS to various devices, even outside the home. I recently purchased a DAC -Gustard A26 reader upnp- seen online by bubbleupnp but not by Plex/Plexamp?!?
Plexamp is not a DLNA client.
Hi, the gustard yes. Plex sees all the devices on the network, both video and stereo, excluding the gustard.
I don’t know what that means. Are you talking about a TV and a receiver?
Audio receiver. I attach two screenshots:
1 BubbleUpnp (sees the gustard)
2 Plex (does not see the gustard)
PlexAmp is not a DLNA client. It also cannot cast to other DLNA clients.
Your Gustard would need to have Chromecast built in to be able to cast to it.
The server can act as a DLNA server which DLNA clients should be able to access directly through there own interface controls.
I understood and understand what plexamp is. What I don’t understand is why other servers see the taster and are able to transmit audio files while Plexserver doesn’t.
Because they simply have that functionality I assume. Plex does not and will likely never have it.
