Does Plexamp support custom visualizers? How could I add custom visualizers? Is the source available to do this?

No, you cannot add your own visualizers.
Not at the moment, at least… at some point it would be fun to open up to custom visualizers.

a way to integrate projectM would be awesome, no need to create more visualizers there are hundreds in there.
